We could not have asked for a better week to explore the Sweet Side of the Tri-Cities. Believe us, tasting our way through the local bakeries, ice cream parlours, candy stores and doughnut shops is a tough job… but someone’s gotta do it!

And we are happy to sacrifice our waist lines to bring you the best of the Tri-Cities.

Rocky Point Ice Cream - Port Moody

In the beautiful Rocky Point Park, you can find Rocky Point Ice Cream, a family-owned ice cream shop! The shop works closely with local businesses to source as many products as possible, locally. With over twenty flavours, there is something for everyone! Stop by Rocky Point Ice Cream and grab a scoop before kayaking or paddle boarding right across the street. And don’t forget to bring your pup — they also serve their famous K9 Doggie Ice Cream!

Marble Slab Creamery - Coquitlam

With a variety of flavours and toppings, Marble Slab sure is sweet! Their handmade ice cream can be paired with tasty dipped cones with peanut, skor, sprinkles, or chocolate. They also offer ice cream catering services for your next event, with flavours and toppings of your choice. Their party ice cream bars sound pretty great to us!

Last year, she created Homemade by Harris, where she offers creative, imaginative, and delicious cookies! Her sugar cookies can be ordered in a classic, vegan, or gluten free recipe! Gabi & Jules Homemade Pies and Baked Goodness

Located in Port Moody, Gabi & Jules is a family-owned bakery specializing in pies! As dog lovers, they are also offering a Puppy Treat Box from August 2nd to 14th, with $10 from every box going to PADS.
