Tri-Local: A Collective Founded on Collaboration

Last weekend our Tri-Local Collective partner, Austin Heights BIA, hosted the annual BIABC Conference and brought together BIA leaders, community members, government representatives and business leaders from all over the province.

The Tri-Local Collective was proud to be invited to share the origin story of our grass-roots campaign, and of how it became a $70k shop local initiative in less than a year.

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce, Downtown PoCo BIA and the City of Port Moody shared the stage (figuratively speaking) and led a discussion of how our collaborative relationship with one another naturally led to us to band together for the betterment of our business community.

From our new website with a free B2C business directory, to a number of community investments, the Tri-Local Collective was excited to share how recent government funding allowed us to accomplish amazing feats for our local business owners.
